Tacos del Valle (Roma Norte)

Chose this place the night we arrived in CDMX. The food was amazing, and the vibe was friendly and casual, though the counter seating is a little cramped. We tried a dozen other places over the week, but never had a better meal than at Tacos del Valle. So we went back again for our last night. No regrets. They're ooperating on a different level. The Rojo porkbelly is the best of the trompo meats, but they're all worth trying. And the Tijuanita taco is perfection.

Excellent dinner! The food was awesome, the mixed trompo was a great way to try all the different types of meat, and the chicharrón de la ramos was amazing in the flauta. I highly recommend the campechana and tijuanita The service was great even though they were extremely busy, the waiter was attentive and the food came fast. Overall, incredible vibe, loud music, and one of our favorite dinners while visiting CDMX.

Fun atmosphere and food was delicious! Some of my favorite tacos of our trip. The line moves fast as well. Our server was friendly and gave great recommendations. Only issue was with our bill. They run your card at the table so the woman asked if we wanted to add a tip, which we did, and she entered it right away but when we got our receipt the tip was double what we had said. She spoke English so this was not a language barrier issue. Just be cautious of this.

The first time I came here, there was over a 45-minute wait. I ended up coming back on a weekday around lunch time, and I'm so glad I did because these were my favorite tacos over my 10 day trip. The price is more expensive compared to other tacos restaurants, but basically match the cost of tacos in my PNW hometown, yet taste way better. I ordered 3 tacos and an agua fresca, but everything is so good you'll want to order more! Shoutout to our server Branden for being super friendly and professional, he deserves a raise~

Typical tacos experience but in an upper scale setting. We had to wait 20 minutes for being seated but totally worth the wait. Really great tacos in a fun atmosphere and great service.

First off, atmosphere here is good - nothing out of the ordinary. Servers and taqueros (chefs) were extremely helpful and very very kind, they chatted to us as we were seated on the bar. Food was outstanding, fresh ingredients, great salsas (the red one - mid spicy) were great too. The meat was tender and lean, the tacos were astonishing and I would very much recommend the asada taco and the other two items in the pictures. Prices were fair and it was actually very cheap for the flavor in the tacos. Dont miss it!!

Absolutely worth the wait, which seems to be most of the time they are open. Some of, if not, the best tacos I've had. All of the trompo options are amazing. The meat is cooked perfectly, super tender, but with crisp edges (especially the black pastor). Sauces and condiments are fresh and prepared with attention to detail. We went twice in a three day span, do not miss.

This taco shop is an absolute flavor explosion! Every bite is loaded with bold spices, rich cheeses, mouthwatering sauces, and a perfect balance of fresh, high-quality ingredients that come together in the best way possible. I won’t even try to single out a favorite because every item on the menu somehow outdoes the last. The 20-minute wait? Totally worth it. These tacos have earned their legendary status, and if you want to beat the rush (especially with the nearby nightlife), get there early. Trust me—you don’t want to miss out on this incredible food!
